Rear electrical connection accessory connection for Kubota L4610

I have a AC planter that runs a blower. I just spliced into the running light on back. If I want power to the accessory, I just turn on the lights.

Missouri Dept Conservation is looking for feedback on some potential non-resident deer hunting regulations changes

I agree that it's not really a clear wording. I read it as "Establish a draw for nonresidents to be able to hunt deer on public land  OR on public and private land." The common theme between the two being public land access. If you had a private land hunt, you couldn't use that permit to also...

    Cutting slabs

I think I've posted pics of the barn before somewhere on the site. It's a fun place to go hang with the guys, have poker night, watch sports, or just talk chestnuts/habitat/deer over a nice pour or cigar. If anyone is ever in the KC area and has time to waste, send me a note. I always enjoy...

    Cutting slabs

I cut slabs from time to time. Used them in the barn when building a hangout for the fellas. Built whiskey shelves out of the slabs, and used some 12 ft slabs on whiskey barrels for high top tables.

How long would 5000sq ft of corn last?

It depends on your coon density. Around me, the ears wouldn't make it to maturity.

Well leaking what is this? Found on my new property.

The local old timers used to take a spring, set up a pipe or dam it into a sheltered table (think of a flat, 3-4" deep water pool in the shade), and set their lunch pails in the shallow cold water to keep their food cold during the summer.

Hawthorn trees/shrubs what to do with them?

IIRC, pears can be grafted to Hawthorne. When I was in the horticulture field, I recall that Washington Hawthorne got horribly infested with Cedar-hawthorne and cedar-quince rusts in my area.

Can it be done... scent proof blind?

I don't doubt ozone kills scents. Its just questioning the application of such technology. Car dealerships (and my friends before returning rentals) run ozone to get rid of bad smells, smoke, etc. Works like a charm. I use a ozone generator made for 2500 sf space to treat my clothes in a...

Can it be done... scent proof blind?

I thought through this scent problem once. I'm a big believer in ozone. It effectively kills scent it comes in contact with. Unfortunately its hard on the lungs, so I don't like it in enclosed spaces. I own a ozonics unit, use it in a tree stand because, well, that money was spent. Is it...

    2026 Scion Exchange

Try to kill a carpenter bee to use as bait. Pretty sure they released pheromones that attract other bees to the trap. I keep badminton racquets near areas of infestation, and noticed bees hovering around the corpses of one's I've already hit. I always whack one to put in the traps now.

    Unique side hustles?

I used to start in RootMaker 4" pots, but they were hard to get the intact rootball out of. Plus they were not very efficient in terms of space. I switched to deepots in a 2"x5" size. I grow in these for a couple months, getting 18-20" trees to pot up into 1g rootmakers. I grow the rest of...

    Unique side hustles?

Nothing wild and crazy... I started out with Chestnut Ridge of Pike County as my source for nuts. As my trees matured, I started collecting my own from my orchard. Ive got my trees set up in racks with drip irrigation. I think this is one of my keys to success. Consistent water, and...

    Unique side hustles?

I grow chestnuts, persimmon, and some other wildlife trees. Sell to mostly local property managers. I can get a chestnut to 36-48" in a year, 5-7' in 2 yrs, and 10-12' in 3 yrs. I use root pruning pots. Its all word-of-mouth sales, no ads or marketplace.

    Persian Clover and groundhog radish?

I'd guess we are seeing different experiences based on a difference in climate. We hit the 70s by the end of April, and sometimes 90s by end of May. Our summers peak in the upper 90s to low 100s, with hair dryer winds blowing across KS. The hot temps leave the spring planted brassicas small...
