No... the minute you turn on the link system you enter the world of necessary restrictions. It would be opening the door to log jams if the system would let you send original size 5 MP pics from the home cam with 20+ remotes waiting impatiently for it to finish and accept their pics. The...
I don't know what it should say, but the fact that it says "Link Mode Home" indicates to me that Cuddelink is turned ON. It needs to be OFF to be in standalone mode so you can select the size of the transmitted pic. I would imagine that it defaulted back to "On" when you updated your firmware...
The metadata has been stripped from the pics you posted so I can't "see" what your settings currently are, but those pictures sure look to me like you have your IR Mode set to 'Field'. I would remotely access the cam and set the IR Mode to either 'Far' or 'Close'... either should work fine...

Cudde G model boards are already conformally coated. Can't speak for the J and K models cause I've never been inside either of those. The boards are all designed and patented in the U.S. by Cuddeback and manufactred to their specs in China.

Pull the batteries and then go to the test menu and run any of the tests until your capacitors discharge and the screen goes blank (hard reset). Test the batteries and reinsert and you will likely be good to go. Reset the time if necessary.
Thank you John. That's fantastic news on the more natural strobe colors! Something squirreled out of control with the stobe white balance processing (with firmware V.3.0 back in 2015) and correcting it pic by pic has given me fits for 5 years now. :emoji_thumbsup:
