    Lithium camera batteries AA. Ouch!!

I use 240+ of these 24 cardboard box batteries a year and never had a problem. Seller is owned by Office Depot. If they are counterfeit batteries, I can’t tell any difference from ones bought from sam’s club and walgreens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2022 Fall seed prices

Besides Valley Park and St. Peters, you can also buy seed at Fenton Feed Mill basically at 141 and Gravois. In past seems they had more reasonable prices than Valley Park and if you call a week ahead they can get in any seed you need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    LP3P606NT drill

We had a lot of trouble with the small seed tubes clogging up from spider webs. Instead of cleaning out the tubes every year we now plug the top and bottom. Plugs from Amazon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Moving 15’ Redneck tower blind

We moved two of those 15’ rednecks last year. Tipped over, removed blind, moved separately, reconnected, tipped back up. When tower on its side, you want the platform with hand rails against the ground, propping up the tower, so keep that in mind for what direction you tip. When tipping down and...

    Taking great harvest photos

In sunny conditions, taking photo with sun generally behind subject (like this one) makes for better photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    ONX Hunt?

We bought land from the government. It took me three months of emailing/calling OnX but they did get the map changed so it no longer shows public. HuntStand has been more difficult, still not changed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tar River SAYA-507 No Till Drill

If I were you, I would take a look at replacing a sprocket in the chain drive for the small seed box to slow down the seed shaft so you could accomplish your brassica mix with no filler. Our 1006NT handles brassicas fine. It’s not impossible. You just need to slow down your seed shaft. If you...

    Genesis drills

Good luck with the drill. Looks like a cage roller on rear end? When you’re drilling the buffalo blend into the beans, you might not like rolling all of the beans across the full swath. I wonder if you could replace the cage roller with a shaft having some wheels on it. Each wheel mounted to be...

    Genesis drills

Thanks, I was meaning the tow behind 606nt. Whether tractor could handle it is certainly something to consider. As a data point for consideration, our M7040 (engine 67hp, pto 62hp) handles the tow behind 1006nt well (gp/lp recommends 75+hp). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Genesis drills

We were considering a 3pt model and decided to go with pull behind. I was able to find good used 1006nt for similar price to new genesis 8. We opted for tow behind for easy connection to tractor and wider drill for faster planting. Not as easy to turn around in tight places as 3pt, but wider...

    Tractor upgrade

We bought an M7040 (predecessor to M7060) without cab in 2012. We have been extremely happy with it. No issues and we have worked it relatively hard. We use a 7’ brush hog and 7.5’ tiller (yjr090) to plant 10 acres of plots. For many years used a 10’ disc with large concrete blocks. The tractor...
