I would bet a significant amount of money that many thousands of bucks have bred their own female offspring (daughter). I don't see how it could be any worse if a button buck who sticks around because his mother was harvested, then breeds his half sister a year or two later?

I think its more due to supply/demand and the feds printing 4.5 trillion since 2020, IMO.
