    Drexel Mix

The product is Drexel Mix. It is a compatibility agent. I have a link in my original post. 2,4-db is safe for clover, 2,4-d is not.

    Drexel Mix

I received a response from Keystone. They state that Mix is a compatibility agent for herbicides and fertilizer and doubt that it will help to "blend" cleth and 2,4-db. They also stated that mixing cleth and 2,4-db increased ("hotter") the effectiveness of those two herbicides so to counter...

    Drexel Mix

I emailed Drexel a few days ago but they never responded. It seems I read a thread here or at a sister site that Drexel Mix was used for two or more incompatible herbicides. For the life of me I can't find it now.

    Drexel Mix

Does anyone use Drexel Mix? If so how do you use it? I know some have no problem mixing 2,4-db and cleth while some, like me, would rather spray those two separately. Would Mix be good for that? https://www.drexchem.com/products/mix/

    Redoing clover

My 2,4-db mix is 2qts acre. plus 64oz acre of AMS and Nitro surf at 2.5 pints acre. I use to have hit and miss results with 2,4-db and cleth until I added AMS. Your cleth mix is very close to mine except I use 16oz acre plus the 1 qt of crop oil and 64oz of AMS.

    Redoing clover

Sounds like you may have had an issue with your herbicide? I spray April with Imox and cleth (Omicron tip) and then again end of August with cleth and 2,4-db. I always use AMS which really improved my kill rate. Assuming you have applied cleth and 2,4-db twice this year I would not spray it...

    2,4-DB and Additives

I mix Drexel AMS (Supreme, All or Xtra) at the suggested 2.5gallons per 100 gallons. If my math is correct that's 3.2oz per gallon. For me that comes out to 64oz per acre with my sprayer @ 20gal an acre. I think my reading comprehension and my math are correct?

    Whats growing in my clover?

Not sure where you live but Farm and Home stores around central Illinois usually has it in stock along with anything else you might need. Keystone usually ships pretty fast.

    Imox question?

I have better luck with Imox in the spring when everything is short. I have sprayed in September a week after my last mowing but spring for me is always better.

    Imox question?

Straight from the manufacturer, no residual with Basagran. Keystone told me 2-3 months with Imox although some here have suggested 1-2 months.

    Fall planting for spring forage

I broadcast cereal rye every year in my clover plots at 150lbs an acre. I get great germination and the benefits are endless.

    Imox question?

My experience with spot spraying a hot mix of gly along with AMS will not totally kill sedge. It always comes back in my plots. I have read that sedge specific herbicides will. I have never used Basagran or any other sedge specific herbicides but I will give it a shot in about 4 weeks to see for...

    Imox question?

I thought about throwing in some Imox but the residual would not allow me to re seed my plots this fall, however I may add some cleth to the mix to get a better kill on the grasses. I have added cleth to imox in the past as suggested by members on the forum so doing the same with basagran sounds...

    Imox question?

Imox had no effect on my yellow nutsedge. I have Basagran on the way which I've been told will do the trick, although it will more than likely require two applications 10-14 days apart. I emailed BASF and I was told no residual concerns with Basagran.
