Is mowing preferred over a simple drag for seed distribution I already drove through the standing Rye to spray it about 2 weeks ago so more than half of it is laid down but the seed head still are holding about half the seeds. Since they are big seeds wouldn't The Mower chop a lot of them up thanks

Are you wanting to mow last years rye to reseed? If so, I would mow. You won't damage much seed, and if it was a good stand of rye, you run a bigger risk of having too much seed, some will say. Myself, I don't think you can have too much rye. I'm jacking my rate even more this year.

Raising rates here too, regardless of the the need. I like to see the rye grain all over the ground.
