Willow Structures

What kinds of plants did they use? I've never seen a willow become invasive....

I was talking about living fences in general. I think they tried Osage Orange (Hedge) and MFR. I wonder if locust wasn't used as well here. All no good unless a guy wants to some of them for corner posts.
