What are uses for drop spreader?

I bought a 10' drop spreader for lime. Is there anything else I can use it for? Seed, fertilizer, etc. And what would be the specific applications. I can't remember exactly but I think the drop holes are around 7" apart, so it seems anything dropped would be in a row.

I think it was a fair price on both sides. I bought it from a guy that buys this stuff and refurbishes. So it has new bearings, parts, pieces, bolts etc. if they're needed and he has it all greased up and ready to go. I gave $575 for it. Real good shape with nothing missing or not working. Only thing I would like if it had were rubber tires. I bought it off an amish so it doesn't have rubber. As long as it spins that doesn't effect me though.
