I have a few 2-3 yo trees I’d like to place in different locations.....too late for this year?

My 2 cents....if the trees are no longer dormant and have broken buds I'd wait until fall. If you can't wait and it's just a few trees that you're not that attached to give it a try. Dig a big root ball, make it fast, and water the hell out of it!
