Ranetka

Has anyone let Ranetka Rootstock bear fruit? Are they seedlings with variability or are they consistent?

I have two where the grafts have failed to take and am wondering if they might be fit for cider or if I should top work them.

I've read that Ranetka is a cross between Baccata and Dolgo. Both of those have seedling variability. I would expect the same for ranetka. Probably depends on what Ranetka you have and whether it really is Ranetka as discussed here- https://www.apfga.org/ranetka-is-a-ranetka-is-a/

I got an inquiry into Walden Heights nursery to hear their thoughts @sandbur as thats where i got my stock 2 years ago, we'll see if they let one grow out and if so did they do more than 1 and if the fruit is uniform or not.
