Good luck to your wife on her surgery, I hope all goes well!We had a good rain again last night and this morning in central Missouri too. We’ve really been struggling to get rain but that’s two decent rains in a week. I’m hoping there’s enough moisture in the ground to germinate my seed when I plant early next week. My wife is having surgery today and next weekend I have a wedding to attend so I hope to plant Monday and Tuesday. Then maybe we’ll get lucky and get a little more rain. It’s been a dry summer but not as bad as this time last year.
Thanks - just talked to the surgeon and all went well. She had a torn rotator cuff but it was a best case scenario repair. She’ll be running and swinging a golf club again in no time. Thanks for the well wishes!Good luck to your wife on her surgery, I hope all goes well!
After virtually no rain all summer, I finally got a good one last night! 4" in NEMO at my farms. Maybe something will grow now! How about you, Bill?
Thanks for the well wishes!
We've had more flash flood warnings and plain old flood warnings here this summer than the last 10 years combined. A walk through local lawns produces a squishing sound. We've had weeks of rain, showers, thunderstorms, that "train" - one follows another. No respite. Some roads & bridges in northern Pa. that were just rebuilt from flooding a year or 2 ago are once again destroyed. We're just now in a 4 day sunny stretch. We can use another 4 days of sun.
Happy to share some rain with you dry guys.
Farm logs says I got 2" on one farm and 3" on the other. The guy that lives by the 2" farm had 4" in the gauge. Farm logs is better than nothing, but I find it to be pretty inaccurate for me.
You should put a rain gauge in front of one of your Buckeye cams...
