Plant and row spacing for silky dogwood

I will be planting 2 rows of 25 this weekend, I want them to be a nice thick row when established, what would you guys reccomend for spacing? Thanks

The USDA says ... "Space plants 5-6 feet apart in a row. If planting in a cluster, 8x10 or 10x10 foot spacing is advisable. Silky dogwood is a large shrub, often 6-10 feet in height. The growth habit is upright rounded, but where stems are in contact with the ground, roots are formed. This behavior creates thickets."

So for two dense rows, Space plants 5-6 feet apart, with 10 ft between rows. Or for maximum plant size you could go up to 8ft spacing with 8-10ft between rows.

Thanks for the advice!
