The fruit looks pretty tasty. If they're really sweet, I'd probably balance them with some good Wisc. or N.Y. extra sharp cheddar cheese & good pretzels !!
 
A little pear pyorn - this tree is unfortunately not at our hunting land. Not sure what type, maybe a kieffer? My dad's late uncle planted it. I was mowing there yesterday, and last weekend's 50 mph winds shook a few off, so I grabbed these off the ground. The tree is hollowed out, for a long time now. Can't believe it still stands. A micro burst went thru that farm early summer and snapped a bunch of big power lines off, still couldn't take this sucker down.
