A buddy in northern MN has it. He says it is similar to Haralred.

The information on GRIN leads me to believe it may be an early dropper that is somewhat susceptible to fire blight. However, I didn't see any rating provided on whether it hangs past maturity and sometimes the fire blight susceptible scores on the GRIN site differ from what state sites say.

I have 1 growing in the garden, got it at a grafting workshop a few years back. Seems to be a pretty vigorous grower but it will be a few years before fruit.

Planted half dozen or so 8-10 years back. Dropped late September here but got nabbed by fireblight bad last year and this year. I have lost quite a few domestic and natives to the blight. Educated guess is it has something to do with the constant rain!!!
