We had a few acres opened up around our cabin by a logger. I hired a guy to clean up the debris and take care of the stumps. He worked 1 day and then walked away. After my wife and I explored our options we decided to move up our plan of buying a tractor in 3 years to right now and clean it up ourselves. I looked at used but couldn’t find anything close and with 0% interest we decided to buy new. We are getting a Kubota L3902 with a grapple and I picked up a Baumalight 1p24 stump grinder. We are going to haul the debris up front where my neighbor is going to grind it with his tub grinder. I will tackle the stumps at my own pace after that. We figured it was a better investment to use the money we had set aside for the clean up on the tractor as opposed to hiring someone else. I’ll post pics after we get it.
