My grandson scored a bull elk today.

Dont have the story yet....his first elk hunt out west. He's hunting with his dad (my SIL). Both are pretty good hunters / shooters.

They got a pretty good outfitter I'm told.....and I believe a pretty good situation for meat. I think they stay at the ranch house where they are hunting.

I asked them: "how much damage to your truck". lol.

Very sketchy cell coverage in their area. My grandson did make a 350 yard shot....and it's the best in this camp this season. My SIL did not have a bull tag....but took a cow. Sure looks like nice country in the pic.
