Nice! Looks like a good summer so far.
The honeycrisp I have out show more of a red blush or striping on them.

Hey H20, The blush sure to come I'm sure. The difference between NW Ohio and SE Mich (Not much difference I would guess)...how 'bout a different strain of Honeycrisp...could be I guess.

Very well could be, your apples look really good.

Some of my Pristine are ripe. I have already eaten 2 or 3 fresh from the tree the last couple days. Dont have a lot of them so I will keep sampling as the days go by to see when I like them the best. I really think they are a great apple for this time of year.

As far as early apples go...from my collection of Pristine, Zestar, Williams Pride, yes Pristine’s my favorite.

I have all 3 to try in a few years, Michigan seems to be a great climate to grow apple trees @Jhoss .

Have you other Michigan guys heard of Christmas Cove Orchard's in Northport. Randomly ran across this article yesterday, I am gonna go there this fall and check it out. This guy has some great stuff!

thought I grafted Pristine before but can’t identify. I want to plant a few next year

Most people in my area of Kansas didn't have any fruit,I have a couple small apples but thats it,not even any sand plums. We had a late frost

This was the first Spring time in many years where we did not have to contend with the threat of frost around full bloom which is usually May 15,16,17 in my area...SE Mich.
