Mancozeb vs. Immunox for CAR

I've used Mancozeb in the past for Cedar Apple Rust, but was bothered by its 66 day PHI and watery peanut butter consistency, which makes a wicked mess. Decided to try Immunox (myclobutanil) and am happy to report it did a great job with CAR (and scab). Last two sprays (post bloom) I've done mixed with Malathion.

Was going to switch back to just Captan today, but we got some rain last night and the CAR galls were orange again.

I've been told that there is nothing you can do to treat the CAR post bloom? Is that false?

I've used Captozeb, basically a mancozeb/captain mix, for my later ripening varieties.
It is a problem when I've got mix left, but only early ones left.
I went straight captain this week plus imidan.

Thanks, I'll look that up.
