Hallman farms

Anyone ever plant from Hallman? Saw they had some pears that drop in August and then a couple late season. Anyone been successful with this nursery?

Yes, they are great!

They are good people and I have had great success with their trees.

I have bought oak, chestnut, pear, crabapple and mulberry from them.

I have a couple dolgo crabapples from them that are obviously seedlings but they were nice trees and drop a lot of fruit. I assumed they were grafted dolgo when I bought them but that was mostly my own ignorance back then. They have been in the ground about 7-8 years now and are big enough for the bears to actually climb them as opposed to knocking them over.

Bought a handful of pear trees two years ago from Hallman. Happy on all parts (trees, prices, shipping, communications with them, etc). Trees have grown very well and look like they may have blooms this spring.
