Fish Spearing Decoys?

Does anyone else carve or collect these?

I hadn’t made any for almost 30 years, but started making them again this last winter. I try to use no power tools and have been mostly making mini decoys.

Some I trade for and I buy a few. The crude red and white on the lower left was my first decoy after decades of not making any decoys. It saw some water time last winter and also some fish.

That’s a very nice lure. I grew up 30 miles south of Leech.

Hammered copper ‘Golden Shiner’ I made almost 3 decades ago. That is lead weight on the chin and it actually swims pretty well.

NO, I'm not that talented. Found it through a guy on craigs list and thought it was very cool and unique to sturgeon spearing that goes on here. Just a unique piece of eclectic art that is an actual decoy!
