Fertilizing corn

Dumb question maybe.
I have a 2 row corn planter, it has no fertilizer boxes. Would it be worth it to run the feed holes a tad oversize and mix fertilizer with the corn seed?

I wouldn’t. It’s gonna burn your roots if it’s in the trench.
