Fat does and antlers

Should have a nice crop of little ones running around in another couple weeks.

I hope so, I think most all made it though the mild winter we had last year and I am seeing the little ones that I had suspicions on last fall.

Nothing like seeing deer eating in your plots !! Worthwhile work - ( play !! ).

A few more pics, dates and times are wrong they were in the last couple days.

Apparently all I need to do for water is make some tracks with the tractor and fill them.

Isn't that where you wanted to put a pond anyway.

Yep, you can kinda see the standing water back right in the pics. We've had a wet spring so far so it's about 2' deep in the re now.

First fawn pic, I figured there was one around because I had a doe hanging around when I put in the plot earlier in the week.

Nice, I keep waiting to get my first. The does are huge.

Got one.
Now if the darn yotes just leave it alone.

No habitat pics because of work but I still have the cameras out.

Early dropper he dwarfs the next pic.

Not sure what he's going to turn out to be.

Dates are right but the times are off, looks like the does and fawns were in there at dark and the next morning wiley was there checking things out. Time for some preditor control.

Wiley can perform a service on your land .............. Feeding the buzzards !!! Load him up with lead, Scott !!
