ewly planted apple trees, care?

5 year old buck +
Have about a dozen newly planted apple trees that are blooming or have blossomed. Should I pinch off the blossoms/fruit and prevent apple growth so the trees put their energy into growing roots, branches etc.??

That is what I do personally. The bloom is also a possible entry point into the limb for fireblight.

I don't let new fruit trees produce fruit for the first three years or so, I want the trees energy to produce wood/roots and leaves when they are young.
I don't get to hung up on the blossoms but will pinch the fruit off if it starts. First few years I am more interested in getting the tree growing strong and shaped correct.
