Thin the heard where? They should thin the 1 deer per 2 acre "hunting ranches" to ZERO!!

It's shocking that CWD spread from one game farm to another.

All of these big game high fenced ranches should be shut down.

Yep I agree, I don’t understand why they haven’t yet honestly. I would think the state gets more money from general hunting than from these farms.

Unfortunately it's like government entitlements. Once you give a guy the go ahead taking it back is really difficult.
My neighbor has been raising Elk, for meat, for over 15 years. Thank God no CWD and he is selling the herd this winter and getting out of the business. Once he purchased the original herd there were never anymore imports. What was bred on the farm stayed so I was never really worried. Even with that safty I can't say I'm sad to see them go.
