I received an email from covert saying all the 3 G providers are planning on stopping service within the next year, so Covert is offering a program to update your Cameras. The updated cameras very on price as for the year of your current cameras. I believe if your cameras are 2016 it is $200, 2017 $175. You get to keep your old camera, and they will continue to work on 3G as long as the provider is offering 3G service, then after that they will work like regular cameras. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I don’t need to send the old ones in, in order to get the new cameras. This is awesome, the batteries will last for ever with the cell service set to off.
