That’s a good chuckle
Food for thought on Bernie... if I were a republican I would be cautious of what you wish for.. dems thought the same way with Trump... This is Similar to how Trump won the republican nomination. Democrats now who say they won’t vote for him probably still will when push comes to shove. Much like a bunch of republicans did even though they didn’t like trump initially. But couldn’t stand Hillary... Much like Trump, Bernie has appealed to voters who normally do not vote. So there will be an influx of new young and some old voters with him...probably enough to offset any democrat that’s willing to jump ship and vote for Trump. If Bernie picks someone like Stacy Abrams, that will all but lock up most African American voters who Trump has been going after and rightfully so.
The worse this Coronavirus outbreak gets the better any Dems chances are in defeating Trump. Especially since to this point Trump hasn’t really been able to tell truth about what’s happening with it and it’s getting worse. Blaming the market on Bernie and democrats, media, etc... just more of the same Trump tactics of only caring for himself and his re-election. I’d expect that Bernie would pivot a little bit, probably not much to appeal to some moderates as most candidates do in the general.
I’ll be honest with you all on all of this. I’m struggling with the choice of Bernie vs Trump. I really think Bernies ideas are too much socialism. But I’m incredibly sick of Trump. The constant lies, always playing the victim card, calling for unity only to go on attack the next day. Twitter.... blatant obvious disrespect for rule of law. The only thing I do know is if the choice is between Bernie and Trump, America loses regardless of how November turns out. there will be no coming together as a country, no healthy discussions on topics without people hating each other, much like what’s already happening on this thread already at times. Future seems pretty Dim at the moment.
I do want to throw this challenge out everyone on this thread. It’s healthy to disagree on politics, let’s not hate each other for it. Let’s not lose sight that we are all Americans whether your allegiance bleeds red, blue or purple. When everyone trying to prove their point because you have to be right, you end up talking passed each other instead of too each other. take a moment to hear the other side. There’s truths to each.
I was listening to WLS the other morning. Lady called in who was a big Bernie supporter. She says that every American should get $45,000 per year. No more, no less. When asked what happens if you actually earn 50K, she said that's fine to do, but you just have to give the extra 5K to the government.
Anyways......
Back to the Coronavirus. What are we up to?? Latest I heard was 1 death of a person with a shitload of medical issues, 22 cases total, and a stock market that has lost about $2 trillion dollars of value this week in the United States.
And nobody talks about creepy uncle joe. He told South Carolina this week that he is running for Senate and that he wants to appoint the first female African American woman to the Senate when he is president and he won convincingly. . The hamster running his mouth can’t keep up to the thoughts in his brain.
I think the cases are in the 60’s with people brought back from cruise ships and such.Anyways......

Spud you missed my point... I don’t have anger at all. I’m not some radical leftist who doesn’t give Trump any credit. However if all anyone cares about in a leader is financials... he’s your guy. I get that. If your looking for someone to lead by example and inspire the rest of the world to be better and bring out the best in everyone and bring a country together, he’s not that will never be that. Too some people that matters. That’s what I was getting at.If Trump lied, why did the Democrats not try and impeach him for perjury?
You state hollow anger at a non-existent enemy ... if America is losing today under Trump's leadership, I'll take this any day over any other option.
