I think so as well. The acorns (if it has any) will be small. Smaller than a dime type small. I have several mature trees on my place. They really like a course soil that is more upland in nature and drains well. If you don't have any or want some acorns to grow...let me know. They like to drop their acorns early on my place - before the white, bur and norther red oaks. Drop early the critters love them and the small size means many critters eat them as well.
