My best friend Tim was clearing the kudzu at his house in Knoxville many years ago when he was stung by a wasp of some type. His mouth area and tongue swelled up so big and fast that he was unable to breath properly. Luckily, his wife was home at the time and recognized the problem and immediately called 911. He was given an epi- pen shot by the paramedics and it saved his life. He never went anywhere from that day on without an epi-pen in his pocket. It just shows you that none of us is guaranteed tomorrow and how fast a life threating situation can occur.
