Aggressive rubbing timeline...

I have seen more scrapes this year than any other I can remember. With that said the three cameras I have hung on scrapes have only produced deer 3 y/o or less.

Not many rubs though.

I was up to my 80(N WI) on 10/21. I had bucks rubbing everywhere. The property was logged a few years ago and they were breaking off and rubbing the 2 year old aspen everywhere. I probably seen 50 rubs on my land, although they were almost all on smaller trees or willow type bushes. There were some rubs that were made that night we were up there. All these rubs scattered on the land and we only found two scrapes.

Had a 2.5 year old eight point hit this first light this morning. This area is my first attempt at throw, spray, mow. Thanks to advice from CnC.

More rubs and some scrapes showing up now at camp - northern Pa. Mature, nice-racked bucks seen on cams all summer and early fall must have dispersed. Cam pix are far fewer now on one member's cams, and those pix are nocturnal.
