Here’s my EZ Fill corn feeder with a built in ladder. The build required five 8’ treated 2x4”, two 10’ lengths of ½” EMT, two 24” lengths of angle iron (to anchor ladder legs) and a handful of ¼” galvanized nuts & bolts, and 16D galvanized nails.
I could do it, just wouldn’t like it . I had bushel bags in mind. I remember carrying those things into the woods when I was 20 and that hurt after a few hundred yards.
however, as above, I have bears and that wouldn;t last long, a
and my bears are out here as of 2 days ago
and if any of my bears found that thing, they would tip it over or break the container off the stand LOL
they can be pretty hard on things like this!
and I have bears out any more due to such mild winters from about March till Mid Jan!
so not much down time without bears here anymore!
