I know these aren’t the best pictures but wondering what I can do to help these apple trees out. This is their third year. I think this is a Galarina. I have fertilized in the spring with 10-10-10 and kept much around the base. They are also fenced. They just don’t have the growth I was hoping for.
On my property I’ve planted 12 apple trees over the past three years. All are fenced and mulched with fertilizer added throughout the year. This year I noticed many of them look like this. Any ideas as to what’s happening?? Thanks so much for any info/advice!!
I have some Liberty and Enterpise apple trees that I planted last spring. I hope to prune them in the next few weeks. Two were planted as whips and 4 were feathered. I have always been afraid to cut anything off of them but I know that's not the correct way to do things. Any suggestions? I'm...
