    Oak ID

This is only tree like this on property and it's not something I'm familiar with. I was thinking chinkapin or chestnut oak. Doesn't have deep grooved bark like chestnut oak pics I've looked at.

    Persimmon question

Stumbled on these persimmons a few years ago but hadn't really paid much attention to them til this year. These seem to start fruiting in the 5-6 ft tall range. The oldest ones there are 15-20 ft tall. The natives I'm used to grow grow a lot taller and thicker. Is there a type of native that...

    Hybrid oaks still green

Went for a walk around the farm today and checked on trees I planted back in the spring. All my hybrid oaks from Native Nurseries still had leaves. Can anybody ID this apple

This tree has been on my Pappaws farm since he bought it in the 80s. I never asked what it was before he passed. It's always loaded and like to try to graft off it before we sell the farm. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    What is this?

Was checking fence after the storms and run across this tree. Don't remember seeing anything like this before and was just curious as to what caused it. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    They're enjoying my hard work

Opening day here in Tn. They started out in the food plot and then worked there way to my little water hole before going to bed. Good to see my work paying off. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Anybody know what this is?

I've got this on a couple farms growing in the woods and it is constantly grazed on. First time I've seen it grow enough to flower. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Got several different bears running around this farm. One good boar I've been hoping would stick around. Had a whopper new bear pass through the other night. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    First try without a disc

New member here just wanting to throw out what I try from whatI've learned from some good reading on here. I've got an opening on a ridge top that is an old log landing. Trail in is small so figured it would be a perfect spot to try some no till. Not enough thatch for throw and mow so knew I was...
