Tractor post hole digger/auger, couple questions.

Are these going to be all wood posts? I would consider renting a track skid loader and a post hole auger on it. Those three point augers are a real pain with no down pressure. Also if you are using some steel posts you can use the loader and just push them in.

    Reloading

I don't enjoy shooting guns that I don't reload the bullets for. Kind of like hunting out of someone else's stand when you have no knowledge of the area or the deer that live there. The whole fun of hunting for me is the plots...the sheds...the pictures...the cat and mouse game with a certain...

Moving from RR to Liberty beans and corn

8 to 10 is what I spray for gly. Also with LL soybeans make sure to add a generic select with the mix and AMS. Liberty is not a good grass killer like gly is. If Marestail is bad a fall burndown is needed for better control. And remember to only spray ignite when it is warm and sunny.

Moving from RR to Liberty beans and corn

Xtend beans are actually cheaper than rr beans and you will get a much better kill. Your marestail better be really small for liberty to kill it and you need warm sunny days while spraying. Also it takes alot more water with liberty.

What is your favorite trail cam and why?

Browning hands down. I run mostly strike force now. I have bought as many cams anyone in the last 12 years and since I started buying brownings about 4 or 5 years ago I have yet to have a single problem with anyone of them. I still buy a few bushels or moultries every now and then but none of...

    What to buy....tractor, utv, other....?

And I forgot to add. If you get one with a loader then I would only look for 4wd. I hated going down hills with stuff in the bucket making the rear brakes useless.

    What to buy....tractor, utv, other....?

Look on tractorhouse and familiarize yourself with some tractors that would work for you. I always liked the Massey 35 but I have international 656 low profile industrial that has alot more horsepower now. For the price of the older tractors you can also get a UTV.

    Farm Welding

I fab and weld for a living and if I had to have 1 welder it would be a stick welder(Miller) and I would have 6011 and 7018 rods. We weld all the new metal in the shop with mig, but I hate rusty metal and mig. If you don't mind grinding on rusty metal and cleaning it up first you will be fine...

    Any cord cutters out there?

We dropped satellite a few years ago. Went to a Roku and watched alot of shows on Netflix. Can't stand all the commercial now on TV so I would struggle to get dish again. Now we don't even watch Roku or Netflix anymore. Dropped home phone and internet when we got unlimited internet on cell...

Looking For Estimated Scores & Which Would You Harvest?

My vote is for which ever one lives on your property the least. I really enjoy picking up the sheds on my home bucks. Plus if for some odd reason( very rare) one of the bucks that is at your place regularly suddenly takes a big jump as a 6, 7, or 8+ year old you will have years of his sheds...

    Real World Products

If you know any farmers in the area you could offer to vacuum out the planter boxes for them after they finish and you keep the seed. We usually have 2 or 3 bags left over and i am carefull to only open what I will need. Or you could offer to clean out the combine and grain cart before they...

    Inside Spread?

Did you by chance get a measurement of the inside spread?

    Wind.

I "play the wind" almost every time I hunt, but it takes alot of work to make stand sites for it. In the majority of my stands everything takes place on one side of the tree and access comes from the other. Most of my stands just need some sort of west wind and I am fine. I usually have one...

    Nocturnal 10 PT.

You need to get him bedding just a little closer. In my opinion he is nocturnal at your food plot or where ever you get pics of him. I had this 9 to 10 year old buck that I would get on camera every night. Deer was nocturnal at my place through August, but I could go a half mile down the road...

    Till vs no till

To make it a true test for phosphorus run off on a tilled field he should have worked it in after he applied it. Other than that I enjoyed the video thanks.

    What's your weapon of choice?

I still shoot my Matthews Monster for bow. I have a couple crossbows that I take in certain blinds because they shot out of the windows better. I love my CVA Accura muzzleloader with Bergara barrel. This is also my favorite hunting season in WI...

Well I thought it was worth a try

There is a few bush honeysuckle out there but if I had to guess I would say multifloral rose would be a good guess. Tornado went through this woods in 2015 and loggers came in and cut what they could. To say that it is a thick mess is an understatement. The first time this summer we flew the...
