Do radishes typically start growing again in the spring?

Not under normal circumstances, but perhaps this ultra mild winter in the north country has caused radishes to morph into perennials. Who knew?

    Drag Harrows for ATV?

We use an aggressive wire harrow behind an ATV. Works well to loosen up the top inch or so for planting small seed, clover, brassicas, rye. You do have to kill off and clear down to pretty bare ground however.

What is the Fix For This?

I've filled a couple of similar areas with a "corduroy road" made with cedar slabs I picked up from a guy that was sawing cedar logs. Worked really well and the slabs cost me $20 a pickup load.

    RR Sugarbeet seed availability?

I posted this recently in the food plot forum but getting few looks and no responses so I thought I'd try it here. I'd really like to try RR sugarbeets again but need help. I know a few years back Monsanto precluded food plotters from acquiring RR seed, and that may still be the case, but I...

    RR sugarbeets available?

I would really like to try planting sugarbeets again but haven't checked on their availability for a number of years. I know Monsanto made them unavailable to food plotters some years back and I suspect that has not changed but thought I'd inquire anyway. I would appreciate any advice you can...

Need Help: Constructing a new Buck Pole

I was surprised I could not find a thread on this. We need a new buck pole at camp and I'd like to do it right. I think a substantial "nice" buck pole is important. My guess is that the deer don't really care, but I, and my hunting buddies, do. In my mind a buck pole should be something to...

    Bear in my water tank!!!

I hear you Fair Oak. May 1st is when the bears show up at my place as well. I've learned over the years to stop feeding the birds when May rolls around as the bears move in and tear up anything that looks or smells like it may contain food.

    Ice storm tree damage recovery

Getting back to your original question, I do not believe those aspens will straighten up. I've had similar occurrences several times over the years and I've had to cut the aspen that were bent over the road. They just don't seem to straighten back up unfortunately.

WTB: Remington 7600 Carbine in .30-06

Those prices are absolutely crazy!! Is there something very special about a 7600? I've got the fore runner to the 7600 in a 760 in 30-06. I'm thinking it might be worth a couple of hundred at best.

    Miscanthus Muncher!!!!!

I planted mine with a dibble bar. Just made a crease dropped them in and pinched them shut over the top. Doesn't really expose any fresh dirt. Perhaps that may help.

My tiny shed to cabin project

Rotate for sure. Change bait brand every year because they seem to lose interest for some reason when you stay too long on one brand. (I don't understand either) I put them outside and inside seems to solve the issue.

    Giant Miscanthus

I have had great success with Miscanthus Giganteus. Very easy to plant and pretty much zero maintenance. Cut it down every year or two and let it grow. Forms a great screen that lasts all winter.
