The deer don’t seem to eat my poplar but they love rubbing on them but it dousnt seem to hurt them. I have lost more to overgrown weeds than anything else

Thanks I have plenty of N.red and sawtooth at this time I planted a coulple Shumard and I think one survived out of 5 and I just planted a couple post this weekend. So far the bur and swo have liked my soil the best so I’m going to stick to those until next year And I can re evaluate the survivors

The first pic is a tree I grew the others are ordered plugs. I prefer my tree over the circling roots when I can’t water trees as I am working out of state 11 months a year. Property is in central Kansas and I’m currently 11 hrs away. So growing acorns helps me get my fix until I can get home
