Somewhere To Send Clover for Variety ID?

I have a food plot I carved out of an overgrown pasture about six years ago. Two acres of two and three inch saplings. When I finally got to the point of disking and planting with wheat - I also got free, 100% coverage of some type of Arrowleaf Clover. Each year I wait until the arrowleaf dies down the end of july - then spray gly, bush hog - and burn if possible. Burn ban every other year - so dont always get to burn. I spread wheat and fertilizer, lightly disk - and the clover comes back every year without me planting clover seed. It is a three ft tall, rank, tough clover. The deer eat the heck out of it - and the does actually fight over which ones will get to fawn in it. Last year- two does had their fawns in it. I would like to plant in other areas - but want to be sure I purchase the same variety. Anywhere to send some pressed samples for positive ID

Collect seeds yourself, sounds like you have it figured out and likely if you wait until it dies out you are reseeding it each year. As far as getting the actual variety take one of the plants to a crop specialist at any Ag coop or a good description likely will get you in the right ballpark. Another avenue may be to check with your local Ag extension office.

It could also be a Kura clover species which spreads by rhizome....
