Batman - the link (in post #23) works and it looks like everything is fine from what I know. I didn't get everything to show on the flyer but you could click on it and then get the entire view.

Formatting on the MDDI page is cutting off half of the brochure image

I know you were being a little sarcastic about creating rules against co-ops but..... I GUARENNTEE the DNR's (no matter what state) are scared to death of them and will do anything to slow them down! If the hunters organize (a co-op is just that) they basically lose control of the triggers and ultimately the most important tool in whitetail herd management....FOREVER.
You may be correct on this MNFISH. I see the DNR's needing to control this to some extent or you will hear them proposing stupid rules like whole "doe-only" archery and gun seasons with no buck harvests, or bucks the first 2 days and antlerless only for the remaining 7 days of gun season like they are now threatening to do in WI. Even though they know that they would be cannibalizing their own license sales and ability to harvest enough deer, they must threaten these things to get the hunters worked up and to get them to harvest the proper amount of does from certain areas. I'm pretty sure they realize they would be cutting off their own noses with rules like that, but they must keep some type of ace-in-the-hole to cover themselves in case what you speak of ever gets a foothold over large areas. It is also one reason they keep outdated and controversial rules on the books or propose new stupid and controversial rules, because they know that things like baiting and similar items will divide the hunting masses and keep things like co-ops from gaining a foothold. Then you get the whole "F*(k that neighbor, he uses bait." or "F*(k that neighbor, he hates guys who bait." The more strife and chaos the DNR's can create throughout the hunting masses the more control they have over them.

It's funny how they treat us sort of like employees - when they want our help they tell us how important we are and how we need to all pull together for the common goal. But as soon as your organized efforts become a threat they try to divide you anyway they can and spread discontent and encourage in-fighting so we become our own worst enemy and they can then do as they wish. I think my state has done that this year by purposing the use of high-powered rifles. They will use it as a distraction from the low deer numbers. They know everybody will complain about the low harvest numbers yet we seem 50/50 on the use of high-powered rifle use.
