So What Happened to Ne Neighbor Thread?

Maybe he didn't get nuked. I had never noticed him posting like that before, but I do miss quite a bit so I don't know what's normal for him. And... I think we all stray from normal once in a while.

So What Happened to Ne Neighbor Thread?

I figured the same (it was nuked, he was nuked, and endless circle jerk needed nuked). I was guilty of adding to the fire (sorry to anyone who may have lost respect for me, it's not characteristic of me to be part of something like that). Got kind of fun though, couldn't wait to see what he...

The Land of Milk and Honey

I've put 48 tons in the driveway this spring. Much longer drive than 8 miles for us to get it so I have it delivered. Looks like you have a great setup though. I'd be scared of what trouble I'd get into with a dump trailer and a quarry that close.

    Concordia Oak

I've got a couple that I planted a few years ago that are growing well. I'm a looooong time from knowing if they are a good tree for me though. They are planted on a hilltop with decently drained soils. pH around 7.

    Arrowhead and other historic/pre-historic collections

You don't find Leprechauns during the rut? We get overrun with the damn things. Stink like hell. I tried to trap them but they figured out how steal the bait without triggering the trap. Once I ran out of gold I went to just shooting them when I got the opportunity.

    Arrowhead and other historic/pre-historic collections

I walked one of my known spots a week ago. Hardly anything was visible. Maybe some rain will get things to show up a little better. Cool find Mortenson!

    Morels 2024

They were early here. Very unusual! I've only found a couple of half's in my life. Just don't see them here much.

    Catscratch House and Habitat build

Tree saw to trim limbs, not a hacksaw (I used a chopsaw to cut the rebar). I get better results with vertical cover. Since I'm also prone to getting hung up I need a good base to keep it from falling over while trying to pull a hook out of it.

    Catscratch House and Habitat build

Ya, I get pics of everything at the mineral site! Tried an experiment for making fish structures. Rebar and cinder blocks. Drill holes, slide the block over the trunk, push the rebar through the holes and stand up. Way easier than the concrete and wire methods I used to do, plus it can be...

    Catscratch House and Habitat build

Not sure I remember seeing a buck with such a lop-sided start to velvet. Curious to see what he turns into. Cool cloud pic. Got the kids burning a stump. Kind of nice having a fire going in the evenings.

Osage orange 🍊 hedge apple for wild life?

Good luck convincing her! Our agent told us they've lost more houses to outdoor boilers than anything else. People get lazy and don't mow/weedeat around them, then an ember gets out on a windy day and pushes a fire to the house. He didn't blink an eye when I asked about an indoor one and said...
