I need to buy an ATV seeder for a client. I've always used the same one, as it just works for me. However, when buying for a client, I'm far more concerned with getting the best for the money than when buying for myself.
This would merely be for top seeding brassicas, oats and cereal rye into existing plantings. No need to handle fertilizer or lime. They have a Firminator for planting (I'll do a review several asked for on this later...for now I'll just say that I'm VERY impressed...I've put just over 10 acres of soybeans in with the ATV model, including working standing cereal rye in. That sucker is a machine). Most places I merely use a hand seeder for this type of work, but we'll be top seeding somewhere over 20 acres and that's a lot of hand seeding.
What do you guys think is the best buy for the $ on an ATV seeder?
As a side note, I'm leaving in the AM, but will try to check with my phone. If I don't reply in a timely manner, it isn't because I'm ignoring this.
Thanks in advance!
