WI Pure Attraction

I planted a half acre of whitetail institute pure attraction 35 days ago, here's what it looks like.

Maybe a pricey product, but man that looks good!

I fallowed this plot all summer, discing it on 2 different occasions. On the day I seeded I ran over it with the disc, spread fertilizer, went over with the disc again, broadcasted the seed, went over with the harrow and prayed for rain. My prayers were answered

Brassica/Kale, winter peas, forage oats

what is all in that mix? Is it all Brassicas or are there some grains too?

There are Oats in that, too. I used the WTI products when I first started and I can't say a bad thing about their products other than expensive. If doing small plots, they are great. For big acreage, you better be rich.

Well said. They fill a niche and have some improved clovers with great characteristics. If you are planting small plots for attraction, most of the BOB seed companies do pretty well. Other than watching out for products containing ryegrass, as you say, the only downside is the extremely high price.
