Anyone know what this is? Im in Western new York, and this is one of the main Plants coming up in our new Field that we are letting regenerate.

Thx native, I looked all morning and could not find anything that looked like it.

I am reading that it it a bit toxic to anything that eats it??

I do see quite a bit of browsing on it?

As for the toxic part, deer and rabbits eats lots of stuff that will kill a human and cow. I've seen cows die from eating white oak acorns.
