weed id please

Anyone id this weed? In mid south georgia. Annual, in open areas, 3-4 ft tall, several stems from base, some have small yellow flower, leaves have teeth on edges. Leaves curly, kinda rough, leaves alternate on stem, stem has tiny hairs. Some have new stems growing from base of leaf. Thanks

Those buds on the tips make it look like thistle, but they don't make a thistle bloom, and the flowers are tiny, 1/4 inch across. I posted a second pic, but I don't see it now. Thanks.
