They pretty much flat out ignore each other at my place too.

I've actually found that turkey seem to have a calming effect on deer for the most part. Deer seem much more comfortable entering a field with turkey feeding in it. I'm thinking that turkey are so skittish of danger and a flock has so many eyes, that they are a sign of safety to deer.
