if using the new L series cameras with the sensitivity on the highest setting, you will get images that are so far they are not very useful- in excess of 30 yards or more. I always recommend setting yore camera about 20 feet from the target area for best image quality. its important to set it level and below the waist if you want it to trigger on animals at long distance.
Cuddeback will have a new L series remote in 2024 with a built in fixed Zoom lens that will allow an option for those that want to capture images in food plots further away, feel they have a sensitive area and want to hide their camera , or set it further away from the target area.
