Thoughts on nativnurseries?

5 year old buck +
got a gift card to nativnurseries which I'm thrilled about. Have any of you ever purchased from them? What has been your experience?

I have ordered 4 "wild" crabapples, 10 red oak, 2 burr oak, 2 MASTdon Burr oak and 4 white oaks. 3 of the 4 crabs grew out of 4' tubes this year (1 was pocket gopher fodder). 1 white oak grew out of the 4' tube as well. The rest have survived and grown well, just not out the tube. All came in pretty good shape even after a long ride in a hot box. By spring I will know just how hardy they are to zone 3-4. All were purchased as the "rapid mast plugs" and I was pleased with the root systems. The red oaks were largest upon arrival at almost 18" tall, burr oaks were smallest at 8-10". Overall a good experience thus far.

I have had nothing but great products from them. I just ordered the red hybrid sale pack to add diversity to my place. I'm not a big hybrid fanatic, but increasing diversity is what its all about in this game. I have done a couple thousand dollars of business with them and don't regret a minute of it. I can buy their fruit trees cheaper than I can grow them which is great because I don't have the space or the time. Their pears will grow 8ft in a year if tubed so the critters can't destroy them. Their burs are not the giants most of us think of in the south (golfball+) but the do grow extremely well as already mentioned. Spend the money protecting them and you will be happy! Also enter the QDMA code for 10%off. I know it's a bad word but it will save some cash for another tree!

+1 on the QDM* code, it almost made me puke but I managed to type it in...

I received some trees from them, they were testing in northern climates. I know I had survival on the oaks

I have ordered several trees from them as well. SWO, Chinkapin, Pin, Beadles, Rainmaker, Totten Oaks, Bald cypress, Flowering Dogwood, Button Bush, Chickasaw Plum, Mulberry and probably some others. Trees were all in great shape when they arrived. Great bunch of folks to talk to and deal with.

I've got 5 deer pears and various oaks. All are alive but these pears have grown like crazy. Got them in June year before this one and in the time my biggest pear tree is over 7-8 ft.

They got some neat trees
I placed a 60 tree order from them few yrs back. Mostly chestnuts but also some various oaks an persimmons. Trees are doing well. Their chestnuts used to be priced reasonable but have since gone up in price.
I think a guy is better off to use MDC for oaks and wildlife Group for chestnuts an Turkey Creek for grafted fruit trees!
I know you have a gift card
If I had a gift card to NN I'd Spend it all on some keifer pear trees.
Just my 2cents:)
