Suprised

Fertilized a plot yesterday and pulled the card, suprised me. First pic of these guys.

Nothing wrong with that selection.

You could get run over by a thundering herd at that spot. Nice.

They are looking good!

Good grief! Did you leave the gate open? J/k. What a set of bucks!

These Covert cams take really good daytime pic but the nighttime ones aren't so good, the body on this deer looks good but can't tell about the headgear.

i have the same issue with the coverts when using them in open areas like plots....the night pics suck. Someone once suggested that they do best with a "back drop" of brush or trees at night.

Likely because the "background" will reflect the flash.

i moved the covert off the plot and into a small maple grove where i have my mineral site....big difference in the quality of the night pics.

Thx for the heads up!

I always used the video option on the Black 60's because the night pics were too blurry. I like to have a background or at least a few trees off to the side and in the FOV of the camera to bounce the flash around.

Is that a MP8?

I think that may have be me. I have the same issue with my spypoint black flashes.

MP5, picked a couple of them up last fall for $80 a piece.

The deer only looks like it is 20' or so from the cam. Even in an open area there should be a little more flash than that.

Yea that's probably why they were that price.

The buck pics have been slim lately, but here's one.
