Spicebush and Turkeys

Does anyone know if Turkey will eat the berries from spicebush? I did some stand thinning in a low lying creek bottom and it's coming in heavy and fast. Trying to decide what to do with it and understand if there is any benifit to turkey. I've ready deer don't do much but bed in it, which is better than nothing. But as I'm very turkey focused just curious if it can help them at all.

I have so many spicebush on my property, I've got to get rid of some just to encourage other species.

I can't speak for turkeys but my deer definitely eat the leaves. Seems like they prefer the leaves as they are semi-yellow, just before leaf drop.
I also see some light browsing on the twigs.
