Small Property Buck

Teeder

5 year old buck +
Here's a dandy. A guy I know, we'll just say he's my brother to protect the innocent, got this one on his own small farm. He walked up within 60-80 yards of him as he was rubbing a tree, 3 days into PA's rifle season, middle of the day! He had pictures of him last year running with the other buck below. Grew leaps and bounds over the previous year! I've never seen anything like him in our little corner of PA. A little over 100 acres surrounded on all sides by high-pressure hunting. Satisfying to have a buck like this comfortable enough with a little chunk of ground to stick around.

Great bucks no doubt!! Congrats to your "brother" 😉

nice!

Nice buck for sure.

Did the guy you know not make a good shot at 60 yards?

Wow that’s a dandy! Massive all the way to the tips. That guy could get away with the old saying “the bases were as big as a beer cans”!

Perfect shot, dropping him in his tracks.

Nice. A little confusing then with the 2 bucks. But I can see now they are 2 different sets of antlers.

Missed this part?

The buck he shot probably wouldn't have made it through this winter either. He had huge infected gashes from fighting, including a 4" hole in his neck. I'd like to see who was taking him on.

That’s a Toad.

still hunted him is that correct?

awesome

Yeah...read it too fast. I was drawn to the size of the antlers instead of the story about "some guy you know" with the emoji face.

Two beautiful bucks for sure.

Shows what potential PA has to grow some good bucks. That mass is crazy.

This is my buck this season. Good, eating size.

Strange broadhead. Should not the Ferrell be threaded?
