Shed Hunt

My sons and I had a very successful shed hunt but unfortunately found a few dead heads. 2 were really nice. You hate to see it, but that is part of nature.

Did you have any EHD in your area? Those two big dead heads look to me like they died right before or immediately after velvet shed. I could be wrong.

Very well could have been, the neighbor found some carcass near his pond last year, I found one.

I agree, bumps look pretty sharp. Nice haul of antlers nonetheless.

That is a super shed hunt! That is too bad about the dead heads. The snow has almost left the woods here, just needs a few more warm days. Most fields are open at least.

Scouted some local public ground and found these monsters. Only the 2nd and 3rd sheds I've ever found. Please don't come beating my door down for the location.
