Pink Pearl

H20fwler

5 year old buck +
Picked my first ever Pink Pearl today, tree has been in the ground a couple years and I left three apples on it this spring.

Pleasant surprise as to the taste, started sweet with just a little tart at end. Very good crunch, and I absolutely love the look. Wife and I both give it a thumbs up as a good eater. I will plant a couple more in the home orchard.

I am watching about 10 apples on my tree. Can you compare ripening time to some other apples of yours?

One of my earlier ones for now.
It’s a late August for me in zone 6A with this one.

And thank you for the redflesh inspiration (obsession) I now have sandbur! I never even knew there was such a thing until I saw your pics posted on here.
I’ve got at least twelve varieties of them now, can’t wait to make pink cider in a few years.

What's the scoop on Pink Pearl for DR? Your pics look pretty clean.
